I loved this blog! I lived in South Florida for 11 years, and when I moved 3 years ago back to one of the greatest joys ever “Seasons”. I just love Summer, the best. I love the sounds of summer, with the windows open, I’m loving the fresh air, but mostly the sounds of the ice cream truck jingle, the sound of the water sprinkler on my lawn, listening to the birds in the early morning, even the sound of a summer thunderstorm is fun. Just the best! Thanks Dayne for a most enjoyable blog.

Hey John, thanks for your comment and for visiting my blog. I’m like you, there is nothing like a good book to read for the simple art of pleasure. Summer seems to bring about that pleasure a bit more strongly for me.

I think you’re spot on in describing the magic of summer. I’ve been in college for months and the one thing I’ve missed the most is pleasure reading. There was just so much work that I’ve never had time to do it.

Now that it’s summer, I can kick back, relax, and crack open a new read.
