I haven't made the leap to "go solo" yet, but I hope to soon. Think and grow rich was one of the first books I read on positive attitude. It's definatly a must read book. I learned a lot from it, and still practice some of these things to this day.

Hey Dayne you LEGEND!!

really really liked this won.

really captured the raw essence of the book. the important bits at least :)

sure, there are some bits that i think, maybe just via lack of language and perennial phrasings, that tend to conflict with my experience and view of reality.

but more than anything, the bit you seem to have most hit home, success is knowing that it's possible and maintaining that possitive abundant mindset.

and damn did you hit it :)

stumbled back to the stoneage.

hope all's well mate.

"Everyone who goes solo wants success, but many people don’t have a clear vision of how to achieve it." True, true :)

I think for a lot of us, the status itself of being an entrepreneur is so attractive that we jump into it, without thinking it through and creating a strong vision for our business. I've helped some people actually decide to delay this moment of going solo, because they realized they didn't have this vision yet, they were just going for the first impression.

Wow Dayne. This is an awesome post. I think part of the reason I even chose personal development as my niche for blogging was to spend time reading about susccessful people. Ive found that my own attitiude has change dramatically because of it. I think it's time to read Think and Grow Rich again. It's interesting note that one moment that changed his life. WE often forget the period before success.

Hi Dayne,

Thank you so much for this post. Think and Grow Rich is indeed a very inspiring and brilliant book on how to achieve great success. I've read it twice and I've learnt a great deal each time I read it.

I love discussing about what contributes to a person’s success. When it comes to characteristics of success, traits of success, or principles of success, I do have a lot to offer. It’s all in the eBook, which I co-authored with 48 other personal development bloggers and writers. It’s called The 77 Traits of Highly Successful People.

I don’t mean to blatantly promote the eBook here. It’s certainly not my intention. I just feel that it’s a great add on to what you've shared in your post. It’s a free eBook but it does require your name and email address. So if anyone feels uncomfortable with that, then simply ignore it.

I apologise if this sounds too much like a promotional comment. Please feel free to delete this if it does.

Cheers~
